Valerie started her golf range in 1996 more by accident than by design.Before this she was designing and producing a co-ordinated range of leisurewear for boutiques up and down the country.

As a present for her mother-in -law she designed a sweatshirt with a golfing motif. It was a great success with other lady members at the golf club,asking where they could buy one. Valerie decided to find out just what was available in the marketplace.

After several weeks of research she could see that at the time there was a huge demand for stylish clothing for lady golfers not readily available. She then changed direction and concentrated on designing and producing a complete range of sporty clothing that would look good on and off the golf
course.

Ladies immediately loved the quality, fit and styling of the collections. The retailers response was fantastic,in that here was a range that sold through,without the hype or advertising of the more established brands. The continued success of the company is due to great service, listening and actioning the feed back from customers.


	I have stocked the Valerie Herman ladies golf clothing for many years and each year it gets better and better. Their attention to detail surpasses all the bigger companies. This is in quality, design, comfort, price point and service. Handicaps at our small club came rocketing down last year and I am sure her clothing played its part.
